Pour Clarisse Agb\u00e9gn\u00e9nou, n\u00e9e il y a 28 ans \u00e0 Rennes, la vie est deux fois une chance. C\u2019est sans doute ce qui lui procure un tel mental sur les tatamis.<\/p>\n<p>S\u2019il est des biographies pour la jeunesse o\u00f9 l\u2019on s\u2019ennuie, ce n\u2019est pas le cas de celle de Clarisse Agb\u00e9gn\u00e9nou. Apr\u00e8s cette entr\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re dramatique, la jeune femme se souvient d\u2019un ton alerte de ses premi\u00e8res passions pour les activit\u00e9s physiques\u00a0: la danse classique et ses tutus, pour laquelle elle n\u2019est pas suffisamment souple, le modern jazz et le hip hop, qui conviennent mieux \u00e0 son go\u00fbt de l\u2019improvisation, puis le multisport \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole avec son fr\u00e8re jumeau, Adrien.<\/p>\n<p>Sans \u00eatre insolente, l\u2019enfant est turbulente, ce qui en CE2 lui vaut une convocation chez la directrice. C\u2019est avant la r\u00e9v\u00e9lation du judo, cette discipline faite pour canaliser les enfants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9nergie d\u00e9bordante. Viennent les premi\u00e8res comp\u00e9titions. Plus Clarisse gagne de combats, plus elle y prend de plaisir, sans \u00eatre trop d\u00e9\u00e7ue quand elle perd. M\u00eame les cris de singe lanc\u00e9s un jour depuis les tribunes vers le podium ne peuvent g\u00e2cher son bonheur d\u2019\u00eatre mont\u00e9e sur la plus haute marche. Elle y puise seulement une motivation suppl\u00e9mentaire.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-14656 alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.usep.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/63-p120-judokates-295x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"295\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On suit la jeune fille du club d\u2019Asni\u00e8res \u00e0 celui d\u2019Argenteuil (Hauts-de-Seine) en passant par la section sport-\u00e9tudes du p\u00f4le France d\u2019Orl\u00e9ans. Car Clarisse est d\u00e9cid\u00e9e\u00a0: elle aime tellement le judo qu\u2019elle veut en faire son m\u00e9tier. Ses parents ont l\u2019intelligence de lui en laisser l\u2019opportunit\u00e9. Mais c\u2019est dur de s\u2019\u00e9loigner des siens \u00e0 15 ans et de se plier \u00e0 un emploi du temps o\u00f9, entre les cours, les entra\u00eenements et les comp\u00e9titions de fin de semaine, il n\u2019y a plus la place pour grand-chose d\u2019autre. Lass\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9changer avec elle par texto, son petit copain finit par la quitter.<\/p>\n<p>Mais un jour de 2014, apr\u00e8s un premier titre europ\u00e9en elle devient championne du monde, exactement comme elle l\u2019avait dit en fanfaronnant des ann\u00e9es plus t\u00f4t \u00e0 ses copines du judo. Elle l\u2019est m\u00eame devenue cinq fois, en attendant le titre olympique qu\u2019elle guigne depuis la m\u00e9daille d\u2019argent obtenue \u00e0 Rio en 2016. <em>\u00ab\u00a0Si vous voulez quelque chose dans votre vie et au plus profond de vous, faites en sorte d\u2019aller le chercher, de travailler, pour ne jamais avoir de regret\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>\u00a0: c\u2019est sign\u00e9 Clarisse Agb\u00e9gn\u00e9nou en 4<sup>e<\/sup> de couverture.
