Elles fondent alors le mouvement Bye Bye plastic bags, sensibilisent et recrutent d\u2019autres jeunes autour d\u2019elles. Ensemble, ils collectent jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7,5\u00a0kg de plastique en une heure. Mais c\u2019est insuffisant devant l\u2019ampleur de la pollution. Les deux s\u0153urs utilisent alors les r\u00e9seaux sociaux et vont m\u00eame jusqu\u2019\u00e0 menacer d\u2019entamer une gr\u00e8ve de la faim\u00a0! Elles n\u2019auront finalement \u00e0 je\u00fbner qu\u2019une seule journ\u00e9e. En 2019, le gouvernement finit par interdire les sacs plastiques dans toute l\u2019\u00eele.
