En d\u00e9pit de ces al\u00e9as, ses associations restent pr\u00e9sentes dans 18,62\u00a0% des \u00e9coles publiques. Par ailleurs, un peu plus de de 8 rencontres sur 10 sont organis\u00e9es en temps scolaire, en compl\u00e9ment de l\u2019EPS et en s\u2019appuyant sur les <a href=\"https:\/\/eduscol.education.fr\/676\/les-parcours-educatifs-l-ecole-au-college-et-au-lycee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">parcours \u00e9ducatifs<\/a> de l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve. Ouvertes parfois \u00e0 des enfants non licenci\u00e9s (12\u00a0% des participations), ces rencontres concernent tous les cycles. Il en va de m\u00eame dans les comit\u00e9s directeurs d\u00e9partementaux, o\u00f9 les femmes repr\u00e9sentent 51 % des \u00e9lus. L\u2019Usep revendique \u00e9galement son engagement environnemental \u00e0 travers l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.usep.org\/index.php\/2019\/10\/03\/les-cles-usep-dune-education-au-developpement-durable\/\">\u00e9ducation au d\u00e9veloppement durable<\/a> et la promotion des mobilit\u00e9s douces.
