Cette rencontre est adaptable, avec 9 ateliers au choix. Deux sont toutefois incontournables\u00a0: le \u00ab\u00a0break show\u00a0\u00bb et le \u00ab\u00a0break battle\u00a0\u00bb, temps de pr\u00e9sentation des phrases dans\u00e9es pr\u00e9par\u00e9es avant ou pendant la rencontre, y compris sous forme de d\u00e9fis entre deux danseurs ou deux groupes de danseurs. La rencontre propos\u00e9e peut r\u00e9unir 2, 3 ou 4 classes, sur une demi-journ\u00e9e voire sur une journ\u00e9e enti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>De fa\u00e7on g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, la rencontre Usep break est sous-tendue par l\u2019id\u00e9e de permettre aux enfants d\u2019agir, de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir, de d\u00e9battre, de produire, de se produire et de lire la danse. Ils sont \u00e9galement invit\u00e9s \u00e0 investir diff\u00e9rents r\u00f4les sociaux\u00a0et peuvent tour \u00e0 tour \u00eatre danseurs, orateurs, ma\u00eetres de c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, spectateurs ou juges.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019approche choisie se r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 la d\u00e9marche de cr\u00e9ation en danse en s\u2019appuyant sur les attendus du 3<sup>e<\/sup> champ d\u2019apprentissage de l\u2019EPS en cycle 2\u00a0: <em>\u00ab\u00a0s\u2019exprimer devant les autres par une prestation artistique et\/ou acrobatique\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>. Cette d\u00e9marche se d\u00e9cline en plusieurs temps\u00a0: explorer, improviser, composer et m\u00e9moriser pour interpr\u00e9ter et communiquer. Des comparaisons ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablies avec les danses traditionnelles, d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien explor\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019Usep, ou la danse contemporaine, et des croisements effectu\u00e9s avec les arts plastiques\u00a0(\u00e0 travers la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019une affiche collective pour le cycle 2, et ult\u00e9rieurement \u00e0 travers le street art pour le cycle\u00a03).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-19999 alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.usep.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/041-mallette-break-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 l\u2019outil en ligne, une mallette Break s\u2019cool a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue pour deux classes. Elle comporte 50 livrets utilisables par chaque enfant (\u00e0 renseigner avant, pendant et apr\u00e8s la rencontre), deux posters de figures et deux jeux de 18 cartes class\u00e9es par grande familles du breaking\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0top rock\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0footwork\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0power moves\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0freezes\u00a0\u00bb. Le choix a \u00e9t\u00e9 fait de conserver les termes anglais (ou am\u00e9ricains) d\u2019origine, utilis\u00e9s par tous les B-boys et B-girls, comme se nomment les pratiquants.
