Cela traduit-il un souci particulier de la part de l\u2019\u00c9ducation nationale\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oui et non. La pr\u00e9occupation est ancienne. Ce qui est nouveau, c\u2019est le souci de changer les pratiques, au-del\u00e0 des d\u00e9clarations ou des prescriptions officielles. Oui, il faut plus de mixit\u00e9, au sens d\u2019une \u00e9galit\u00e9 effective, mais comment fait-on\u00a0?<\/p>\n<p><strong>On pourrait consid\u00e9rer que, dans l\u2019EPS et le sport scolaire du 1<sup>er<\/sup> degr\u00e9, la mixit\u00e9 va de soi. Or dans l\u2019ouvrage sur <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revue-eps.com\/fr\/le-genre_o-15430.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Le genre<\/em><\/a> que vous avez coordonn\u00e9 pour les \u00e9ditions EPS, on lit\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0La mixit\u00e9 est une condition de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9, elle n\u2019implique pas l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb Comment faire pour y parvenir\u00a0?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il faut mettre en place les conditions d\u2019un \u00e9gal acc\u00e8s des filles et des gar\u00e7ons \u00e0 toutes les pratiques, et \u00e0 tous les niveaux de pratique. Or, comme pour tout individu, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 a appris aux enseignant.es \u00e0 se comporter en tant qu\u2019hommes et femmes. Il\u00a0faut lutter contre ses propres rep\u00e8res. C\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment l\u2019objet de l\u2019item sur l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 femmes-hommes qui figure dans le tronc commun de formation d\u00e9fini en 2013 par la loi de refondation de l\u2019\u00e9cole\u00a0: donner \u00e0 comprendre aux futurs professeur.es des \u00e9coles ces m\u00e9canismes sous-jacents, souvent invisibles et insidieux, afin d\u2019\u00eatre en mesure de proposer des pratiques physiques et sportives accessibles \u00e0 toutes et tous.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Face \u00e0 l\u2019in\u00e9galit\u00e9 filles-gar\u00e7ons que l\u2019on observe dans l\u2019exp\u00e9rience, et donc la ma\u00eetrise, des activit\u00e9s physiques et sportives, les enseignants proposent souvent des activit\u00e9s neutres, non sexu\u00e9es, non connot\u00e9es, afin que toutes et tous partent \u00ab\u00a0\u00e0 \u00e9galit\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Est-ce la\u00a0bonne r\u00e9ponse ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est une possibilit\u00e9, mais cela ne suffit pas. Se priver d\u2019activit\u00e9s consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme masculines ou f\u00e9minines revient \u00e0 emp\u00eacher les filles qui le souhaiteraient de pratiquer ce sport de ballon tr\u00e8s populaire qu\u2019est le football, et \u00e0 interdire aux gar\u00e7ons d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter cette forme d\u2019expression corporelle qu\u2019est la danse. Cela conforte des formes d\u2019interdiction, d\u2019auto-censure, par soi-m\u00eame et par le contr\u00f4le social. Donc \u00e7a ne r\u00e9sout pas tous les probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On peut aussi mentionner le rugby\u00a0: \u00e0 l\u2019Usep, les filles s\u2019y investissent autant que les gar\u00e7ons, et souvent s\u2019y r\u00e9v\u00e8lent\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oui. Et, \u00e0 l\u2019inverse, je me souviens d\u2019un \u00e9change en classe autour de l\u2019\u00e9quitation. Un gar\u00e7on se moquait d\u2019une fille qui pratiquait le poney\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Ah-Ah, le poney, c\u2019est pour les filles\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb. Sous-entendu\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est nul.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0 La maitresse a tr\u00e8s bien r\u00e9agi\u00a0en demandant\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Pourquoi le poney serait-il r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux filles\u00a0? Et toi, tu n\u2019aimes pas les animaux, les chevaux\u00a0?\u00a0\u00bb L\u2019enseignante avait trouv\u00e9 la fa\u00e7on de rassurer la petite fille tout en disant au gar\u00e7on que, si lui-m\u00eame avait envie de faire du poney, il pouvait s\u2019y autoriser.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Est-il parfois pertinent, sur le plan p\u00e9dagogique, de s\u00e9parer filles et gar\u00e7ons\u00a0dans les activit\u00e9s physiques et sportives ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La vraie question est\u00a0: faut-il accepter de passer par des \u00e9tapes interm\u00e9diaires permettant de travailler tranquillement, en confiance.
